Smart-Kids skills books have been created especially for South African children. They are written according to the South African curriculum so they are at exactly the right level for children in Grade 4. We've designed the series so that it is easy for children, parents and teachers to use. We've also inserted the problem solving strategy being practised in the border on the side of each page so that you can quickly see what the focus of eat activity is. At the back of the book you'll find notes on each activity as well as all the answers. At the end of each activity you'll find Einstein, our Smart-kids rat with three different expressions on his face. Colour in the face that best describes how you feel about the activity that yu have just completed. This will help you recognise where you are confident and where you need extra support and practice. Smart-kids was designed by experienced South African teachers who believe that children should build their Mathematics skills while developing a real love of learning.
